OUR 33RD ANNIVERSARY
Following the formalities of our AGM, WI ordinary business commenced.
Ruth Grimley, Vice-President announced that she had received a letter of thanks from Lauren Mitchell at Merseyside Fire Service thanking us for our wonderful effort in knitting squares and making them into blankets. To date 11 blankets have been completed, below is our President, Edna North with the latest creation.

We have also received a ‘Thank you’ (see below) to Rainhill WI & Kendrick’s Cross WI from the local Macmillan Cancer Services for our joint donation from the Rainhill Gala Day cake stall.

Following normal business we welcomed Tracy from the Body Shop.
Tracy gave us a short history of the Body Shop and then presented a small selection of the latest range of products including some stocking filler ideas for Christmas gifts.
